One More Mystery Trailer: Renegade Cop
So this is the latest trailer that I've made with a group of friends. It was incredibly fun to make. We actually ran into a problem with the cops on this one. We were filming the scene of my dad being beaten up and we heard someone scream. A few minutes later a cop crossed four lanes and quickly pulled up to where we were shooting, probably excited that he'd get to stop some real crime rather then pulling old people over for going 40 in a 35. Anyways the cop left after my dad, who was all bloody and on the ground, waved him off saying "I'm acting." So, if you want to see a video with such vicious and realistic beatings that a cop had to stop its filming, I highly recommend you check out this trailer.

Announcing "Crossroads"

As I stated in my last blog post I've been working on a new film for quite a while (since mid-August to be specific). The film is called "Crossroads," and it is an experimental film about the end of one journey and the beginning of another. The film specifically deals with going off to college, although its story and message can be applied to any "crossroad" that a person faces during their life. I like to think that the film is more of a thought then a traditional narrative. While there is a beginning, middle, climax, and ending, it's not in the typical manner found in some of my previous films. Actually this film is very different from anything I've done before. I decided to go with the experimental structure because I felt it was the best and most natural way to tell the story I wanted to tell in a simple and strong manner. This film is also my most openly personal work to date. "Crossroads," will not be able to view online until sometime next year (although those who starred and helped out with it will see a final cut of the film very soon), but hopefully you will be able to catch it at some film festivals around the country.
Stay tuned as more details will be posted about this project over time until its eventual release.
