Garbustruck Films

Announcing my new production company Garbustruck Films! The reason for the title change mainly had to do with the fact that the name Cinergy Films was being used by others for their own production company. So why Garbustruck films? Simply, it was a nickname one of my friends had for me back in eighth grade (Garbustruck) and I liked it and thought it would make a cool production company name. My new film "Outpatient," will be the first film to be produced under this new company. Stay tuned for updates about it!

Announcing "Outpatient"

I'm pleased to announce that my next film, "Outpatient," will go into production early June.

So what is "Outpatient"?

While I can't say what the plot is and who the cast is, I can briefly touch upon the themes of the film. The film is about loneliness, depression, addiction, friendship, and finding happiness in any situation. I had wrote several scripts since "Dormanine," my last film, but none of them I felt were ready to be made at this point in time. I then went into a writer's block period for several months. "Outpatient," was the first script I wrote after the writer's block, and after writing it I didn't know what to make of it, but I felt it needed to be made. It's an original story that deals with its subjects in a unique, dark, and real manner. It's not going to be for everybody, but I do hope it finds an audience somehow. This will be the last film I make while in high school (although I do intend to make another film in July) and I hope to have it finished before late June. Announcements about the cast, synopsis, as well as photos and trailers will follow later on in the month so keep a look out for those.

The Adumbration

My first film ever, "The Adumbration," is now available for viewing on Vimeo. It is the story of creation symbolized by a painter and his canvas. It was an official selection of the 2009 Strictly Students Film Festival.

"Dormanine" Announced as Official Selection Santa Monica Teen Film Festival

Remember my film "Dormanine,"? Well a while ago I announced that I had submitted it to many film festivals across the country. The good people of the Santa Monica Teen Film Festival found the film to be good enough to be screened at their festival. I'd like to take this moment to personally thank the Santa Monica Teen Film Festival for their selection. I am very grateful.

Sunday, May 1 at 2:00 p.m. at the Santa Monica Main Library MLK Jr. Auditorium, 601 Santa Monica Blvd., Santa Monica, CA.

"Our film festival spans 2 days: Saturday, April 30, 7 p.m. at the Miles Playhouse (1130 Lincoln Boulevard, Santa Monica, CA) and Sunday, May 1, 2 p.m. at the Santa Monica Main Library. We announce the festival winners and do an awards presentation on Sunday, May 1, after the film screening," - Santa Monica Teen Film Festival Committee.

So if you're in California and would like to support the film by going to the Santa Monica Teen Film Festival, I encourage you to do so.
