As I stated in my last blog post I've been working on a new film for quite a while (since mid-August to be specific). The film is called "Crossroads," and it is an experimental film about the end of one journey and the beginning of another. The film specifically deals with going off to college, although its story and message can be applied to any "crossroad" that a person faces during their life. I like to think that the film is more of a thought then a traditional narrative. While there is a beginning, middle, climax, and ending, it's not in the typical manner found in some of my previous films. Actually this film is very different from anything I've done before. I decided to go with the experimental structure because I felt it was the best and most natural way to tell the story I wanted to tell in a simple and strong manner. This film is also my most openly personal work to date. "Crossroads," will not be able to view online until sometime next year (although those who starred and helped out with it will see a final cut of the film very soon), but hopefully you will be able to catch it at some film festivals around the country.
Stay tuned as more details will be posted about this project over time until its eventual release.
